Diabetes city tour on 9 August

11 million people in Germany have diabetes, including 2 million people who are unaware of their condition. That’s why diabetesDE – German Diabetes Aid is raising awareness in places where nobody would suspect it. This year, the Diabetes Cities Tour will be making a guest appearance at Alexa on Saturday, 9 August, with blood glucose measurements by a diabetes consultant and interviews with experts on risk factors and diet plans as well as with people with diabetes who will talk about their everyday experiences with diabetes. The popular actor Vincent Krüger (‘GZSZ’, ‘Sankt Maik’), who lives with type 1 diabetes himself, will also be there at 2.45 pm. All visitors are cordially invited to keep up to date with everything worth knowing about diabetes and to take the German Diabetes Risk Test® on site.
