On July 3 & 4, 2026, ALEXA will transform into a sustainable festival brimming with creativity and hands-on fun! Together with fashion designer Josefina Studio and the participating stores—McDonald’s, Jack Wolfskin, Hunkemöller, Schöffel Lowa, Media Markt Tech Village, 24Colours, Dalink Stoffe, Edeka, Union Zeughaus, and 1. FC Union Berlin—we’ll show how leftovers can be turned into new favorite pieces.

Here’s how it works:

No registration required—just stop by and join in!

Three creative stations are waiting for you:

1. Creative Repair:
   Bring your favorite broken items or pick out pieces from the participating vendors’ collections, and learn how to turn minor damage into a trendy design feature using decorative stitches and patches. Turn old into stylish—and make every stitch a statement!
2. Keychains & Pouches:
   Turn fabric and leather scraps into cool keychains and mini accessories with your own hands. Using hand presses, rivets, and rings, you’ll transform scraps into practical fashion accessories.
3. DIY Print:
   Turn clothes or bags into creative one-of-a-kind pieces! Print using stencils, spray paint, or fabric markers. Experiment, create—and take your personal eye-catcher home with you right away!

Your process:

• Pick a station—or try them all one after another!
• Bring your own materials or use the upcycling scraps provided by our tenants.
• Whether you’re a beginner or a DIY pro, you’ll create your new favorite piece in just 15 minutes.
